was a movie done in 1980.
It's about a coke bottle that drops from the sky and a Botswana man finds it. it becomes the novelty and village vice so he tries to get rid of it. I don't remember the rest of the comedy. I thought it was a dumb movie, but my whole family raves about it. It's been so long ago that I watched that I might give it another chance. The only reason this title (The Gods Must Be Crazy) comes to mind is because gods is in the title, which then leads me to the quote.
"we're bad artists...and proud of it. humility is a brand new idea."
that's me on 'being the gods of our own lives'. still don't see it? don't worry. ...we make much of ourselves and where we're going or where we've been. we think we're art and lovely little creators. we are too...but black ones. we have egos and sin that distort the whole image self-image. "sin is the new black," our pride of life. It's in vanity and blindness. because there is no righteousness.
now that i think of it, this title is perfect. :)
